Our congratulations go to Mark Webber for winning the 2012 British Formula 1 Grand Prix, after his dramatic pass in the closing laps took the lead from Fernando Alonso. Although the home drivers couldn't quite breakthrough to the podium, Lewis Hamilton confirmed his status as the king of donuts in a thrilling post-race lap.
We would like to say a big thank you too all fans who have supported the event over the three days. In spite of the difficult weather conditions, your dedication, patience, and high-spirits is testament to what makes the British Grand Prix fans the very best in the world.
It is with great regret that some fans were not able to access the circuit over the race weekend because of the impacts of the adverse conditions. Silverstone Circuit have advised they will be releasing full details of refund procedures for affected persons in the early part of the coming week. We appreciate if you have been affected, you will be keen to resolve the matter as soon as possible, however, we do ask for your patience whilst we wait on Silverstone to release further details. We hope that you can appreciate that our role at bookF1.com is as a ticket supplier, but we do not have any involvement in the actual planning and running of the event, which is operated by Silverstone Circuit, and so refund policies relating to event weekend are set by Silverstone Circuit.
Please be assured that as soon as more information is available we will be contact our customers to advise. Please ensure that if you have been unable to use your ticket that you keep it safe and do not remove unused stubs as Silverstone may require these as part of their refund policy.
