AUSTRALIAN FORMULA 1 GRAND PRIX

This was the first F1 I've been to and I thought it was fantastic. All day they have entertainment both on and off the track. There were ample places to view the track and also a few massive screens and loads of smaller screens around the track with speakers. You couldn't hear the commentary however when the cars pass you as they are sooo loud. You must definitely wear earplugs when the F1 racing is on. There was also a couple of air displays including a jet fighter.
At the end we got onto the track and went to the finishing line to see the presentation. We were right in front and got excellent pictures. I also picked up some tyre rubber. I would love to go back here but it will be quite hard considering I live in the UK.

I could walk virtually the whole circuit and the ticket pick up arrangements were very clear and easy thank you

The facilities and transport to the circuit were excellent, the only criticism really was that the screen to update and show the race was too far away to see properly and impossible to actually read the race order. I would like to say that your organisation of our tickets and information updates was excellent, especially as we were out of the country at the time the tickets were available for issue. Many thanks.

It was the most disorganised circuit that Iv'e been to to get out of. The stand was not covered so I got soaked during qualifying and I could not see the screen so it was difficult to follow the race. The race was great and the track a good one. Overall I enjoyed the event immensely and if I went again would pick another spot to sit,

Great weekend (except the weather). More supporting races than anywhere so there is always something going on and they are all worth watching. Not sure it is quite as well organised as it was a few years ago & perhaps it is time for them to look critically at themselves, but only because they used to be head & shoulders above all the over venues.

Great GP have been to several around the world now but this is probably the 2nd best by far (monza being No1) great facility's and the weekend was non stop for entertainment. The entertainment was the most I have seen in any GP by a million miles everything single minute there was somthing to do or watch from thurs-Sun if u have the option to buy early and get GP Advantage then to so cos it is well worth it. Jones stand is a great place to sit in my view as you have the first corner action to see but also have 3 screens in good view to watch. Be aware though there is no fan vision in this GP so take a radio headset to listin to the commentary

This was a great package, I had not fully realised it included access to the lower covered bar area, (GP advantage) which proved invaluable on the very wet Saturday. Staff were very helpful and professional, location and view great. Additional access to GP entry viewing area also a nice bonus. Ticket collection and unique entry (1) was also great, as was the free tram service. On race day was quicker to walk to second tram stop and get on there. Would highly recommend both the package and the city of Melbourne, excellent hosts

I thought the entire four days were marvellous. Everything was very well-organised and the free tram service ensured that everyone was transported safely and efficiently back to their accomodation. I enjoyed it far more than I had imagined I would! Well done Melbourne for hosting a spectacular event.

Excellent day out at our first ever Grand Prix. You need to think that the weather might be chilly another time and provide more coffee facilities as the staff were in a real muddle at those two tent. We had a really good day.

I had a great time, although I have only given 4 Stars, other people may see it as 5 Star. The saturday, was very very wet causing the cancellation of Q2 and Q1, I know you cannot do anything about the weather, better facility's and information when the weather was inclement would be an improvement. Why place a large screen TV next to the music marque. Their was a large crowd watching the screen and trying to listen to the commentary and were unable to do so when the musicians insisted on banging drums and guitars, I know they need to tune the equipment, but this is primarily a GP not a music festival. I would have liked to be camp on site, not on a big 4 site outside Melbourne. Requiring 3 hour journey times every day! In saying this I would go again

Absolutely perfect besides the weather on Saturday...

The Albert Park circuit was a little dated considering some of the newer circuits but everybody was helpful and friendly. The free GP Tram from the city centre was excellent ! The 4 Corner ticket provided a variety of race views and all the seats locations gave clear views across the track.

the four corners pass gave me access to an advantage bar right on the pit straight which was AWESOME especially given the pouring rain on the Saturday. we got to see into the pits and them line up on the track. only down side was the weather I have been to many gps now but the best had to be Singapore but Melbourne being the first race of the season has to be up their with the best. book f1 is the only way to get the best tickets!

The weather made it a little hard to enjoy Saturday but ease of access, information was good, merchandising was done well with enough outlets to cope with the crowds. Only problem was leaving at the end of the final race as there were bottlenecks at the over road ramps.
The atmosphere at the circuit was so good. Enjoyed it in spite of the weather.

weather was really poor on saturday afternoon, but being a brit i came prepered, waterproofs etc!! race day was really good. plenty of viewing even if you have only bought a gerneral admission ticket. I investen in a $90 helicopter flight which was worth every $!! Ear plugs a must and i wish i had bought F1 radio to hear the action. eventhough it was well covered on the multiple screens. all in all a great weekend.

We only attended on Thursday and enjoyed our day. I thought that the food and range of drinks was below standard for a Grand Prix event.

Great overall,slightly marred by the weather!
