AUSTRALIAN FORMULA 1 GRAND PRIX
Below you will find reviews, ratings, and tips on the circuit from other race fans.
As a Brit, the Australian F1 has always been a dream of mine. Not only is it the first on the calendar but the furthest one away from me, also except for this year Button (whom I support) doesn't do too bad. So there's many appeals for me to go there. Comparing it to the 3 other F1's I have been to, (Monza, Catalunya & Silverstone) it has some of the best off track activities; we had a F1 stars autograph signing on the Thursday, many support races, track history, Nitro Circus, etc. As for track view the good spots are taken up very quickly on the race day and crowds are hard to look over. But you can get a place on the straights easy enough, I did notice that the Australian track had less TV's around so it was hardest of all my races to keep track of drivers positions in the race. But we do walk around to get different views of the track during the race, so that might have hindered us. At the end of the race like all races now they let you onto the start/finish to watch the podium, which again fills up fast. Overall had a fantastic weekend and so did my friends who came with me.
We only attended on Thursday and enjoyed our day. I thought that the food and range of drinks was below standard for a Grand Prix event.
