MotoGP returns to the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli on the weekend of the 7th-9th September 2018.
In 2017, Valentino Rossi had to unfortunately sit out the race at his home circuit due a broken leg, clearing the way for Marc Marquez who rode to victory ahead of Danilo Petrucci and Andrea Dovizioso.
