Getting to Bahrain International Circuit

Bahrain International Circuit

The best way to travel to the circuit is by car as Bahrain does not have an extensive public transport network. Parking at the Bahrain International Circuit is limited and it is essential that parking is booked in advance.

Spectators are entitled to 1 free parking pass for each 3 grandstand tickets booked i.e.

    • 1-3 tickets = 1 parking pass
    • 4-6 tickets = 2 parking passes
    • ...and so on

If you require parking for e-ticket bookings, you will need to collect a parking sticker before heading to the event. In order to do this, you will need to show your e-ticket at one of the Official BIC Outlets, at the City Centre Mall or Seef Mall, or the Ticket Collection Tent near the Sakhir Petrol Station. You will then be issued with a parking sticker.

    Coach & Bus

It is possible to travel to the circuit using the Bahrain bus system. However, this can take a lot longer than driving or taking a taxi, so we would not recommend this method of travel.

Over race weekend, shuttle buses may run from main hotels in Bahrain. Check with your hotel to see if there is any service offered.

Travelling to the circuit by taxi is a possibility, but there may be long queues for taxis after the race has finished. If possible, book your return taxi in advance to avoid long delays.

We also recommend you to check that the meter is switched on and that your travel fare is agreed with the driver before you start your journey.

Also, please note that Uber now operates in Bahrain, so it might be worth taking it into consideration.
