21-Race schedule remains largely unchanged from 2018
Following Friday's meeting of the World Motor Sport Council, the 2019 Formula 1 World Championship calendar has been confirmed. Apart from switching the Mexican and US Grand Prix, the race order remains unchanged from 2018. However, following this season's challenging summer schedule, the 2019 calendar is more spread out, starting in Melbourne on 17th March and ending in Abu Dhabi on 1st December.
The confirmed calendar is as follows:

Along with the calendar confirmation, the 2019 Technical Regulations were agreed. The new season will include changes to the front wing aerodynamics to assist overtaking, and lights fixed to the endplates of the rear wing to increase visibility for cars behind in night and wet races.
