You may wish to consider the following for planning your race weekend travel to Circuit de Catalunya:
Parking areas are located as follows:
Motorbikes park free at the circuit over the weekend and do not need parking passes.
Disabled parking is available in both Parking C and Parking A. This does not need to be booked in advance, and is free of charge. You will need to display your disabled parking badge in the windscreen on your car and head towards the correct parking area. Marshals will direct you to the correct parking area as you get closer to the circuit.
Coach service, Sagalés, will be running two bus services to the circuit this year. Both can be booked in advance to get to and from the circuit over the race weekend.
One service will run from Estacio del Nord, Ali Bei street, 80 in Barcelona. The bus will leave from platforms 25, 26 and 27 and will terminate at the supermarket Sorli Discau (300 metres from the circuit entrance). The timetable for 2017 can be found below.Friday 12th May
The second service will run from Lloret de Mar to the Circuit de Catalunya on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th May. The bus service will start at Hotel Hawaii and will make a few stops along the coast before heading on to the circuit. The total journey time from Lloret de Mar to the circuit is expected to be around 2 hours. Tickets for this service, along with the provisional timetable for 2017 will be available shortly.Saturday 13th May

The nearest stop to the circuit is Montmelo Station. You can take the Renfe R2 (dark green) or R2 Nord (light green) train from Barcelona Sants, Barcelona Passeig de Gracia or Barcelona El Clot-Arago stations in the direction of Granollers or Saint Celoni directly to Montmelo. All of these Barcelona stations can be reached using the Barcelona metro service. From Montmelo station, the circuit entrance is approximately a 25-30 minute walk. For a nominal fee, the town hall also operate a touristic shuttle service from the station to the circuit, although this service is very limited.
Barcelona Sants is served by trains from most large cities in Spain, so if you are travelling from further afield, you may want to arrange travel to this station and then onward to the track.
Taxis can drop-off and pick-up at the main circuit gates. If possible, try to book your pick-up in advance to avoid a long wait.
BookTaxiBarcelona is a Barcelona based taxi company who offer return trips from Barcelona City Centre or Airport to the track. In order to minimise waiting times at the end of the race, the taxi service will wait at the circuit, and you will meet the same driver in the same location for your return trip. You can also take an official taxi from Barcelona, the official taxis are black and yellow and are usually affordable, we advise you to check if the meter is being used. The fare should be on average around €10 per fifteen minute journey.
Helicopter transfer services are available from a range of local and regional airports, as well as Barcelona Harbour (Port Vell), directly to the circuit. These transfers are available on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. If you would like to book Friday or Saturday, please contact us directly.
All transfers are a return service for groups of 3 or 5, except for departures from Port Vell, which are available per person. The prices below are the total number of PAX. You will need to provide details of all passengers at the time of booking and each passenger will also need to bring their passport with them on the day.

There are two airports near the Circuit de Catalunya. The closest is Barcelona-El Prat Airport, which is about 40km away from the circuit, in the south of Barcelona. This airport is perfect for accessing the city of Barcelona, and travelling onward to the circuit. Alternatively Girona-Costa Brava Airport is approximately 72km to the North-west of the circuit, and offers ease of access to coastal towns along the Costa Brava.
