Based at the Williams F1 Team Headquarters in Grove, Oxfordshire, UK, this is a truly unique experience. You can now get the "inside track" of a Formula 1 race day when you join the Williams F1 Team for a day of hospitality, unprecedented team access, and a live screening of the F1 Grand Prix from the onsite team conference centre.
Hosted by a Williams F1 Team Expert, you get to enjoy the experience of hospitality, fun and racing heritage. Highlights of the day include:
Your insight into the Williams F1 Team and the race begin with a summary of previous days qualifying session with an exclusive live link with one of the drivers. You can also enjoy the live control room link up. Following this is coverage of the race itself, and race debrief.
A truly unmissable part of your experience. You will receive a guided tour of the Williams Grand Prix Collection. This museum of the Williams Grand Prix Engineering's entries in motorsport over the past 40 years reflect on the highs and lows of the teams’ forty year history. See legendary cars including vehicles raced by Keke Rosberg, Nigel Mansell, Damon Hill, Alain Prost, and the late, great, Ayrton Senna. You can also see a selection of their more famous endeavours, including Mansell's all-conquering FW14 from 1992, the BTCC Championship Winning Renault Laguna, and the famous six wheeled FW08B F1 car from 1982 - that didn't see a race after technical changes declared "only one wheel per corner"*. What's more, your knowledgeable guide will be able to tell you the stories of each car you see.
There are several activities available for your entertainment. Test your speed in the simulator, emulate the mechanics on the pit stop challenge, race other guests on the super-size Scalextric track and time your reactions on the Batak machine.
Williams Grand Prix Engineering offer a great story of British motor sport, spearheaded by Sir Frank Williams, Sir Patrick Head, and Claire Williams OBE, and this is a superb opportunity to see into their world and the organisation built around it.
