You may wish to consider the following for planning your race weekend travel to Marina Bay Street Circuit:
Given the increased volume of traffic around the circuit, it is highly recommended that you take public transportation instead of driving. If you decide to drive, please note that due to the road closures, parking around the circuit will be limited.
MRT trains run to various stops located close to the circuit. Depending on your grandstand location and entrance gate will affect which station you should use. Some shuttle buses also run from the MRT stations to various gates. Check out your online account for full details of the routes.
Each gate has designated taxi points, which can be found in your online account.
As a street circuit, spectators staying nearby may find it easiest to walk to the circuit. The main hotels located walking distance from Marina Bay Circuit include the Raffles Hotel, Pan Pacific Singapore Hotel, Marina Mandarin Hotel, The Ritz-Carlton Millenia, Carlton Hotel & Parkroyal Hotel on Beach Road.
Plan your route to the gate nearest your grandstand carefully, whether you are travelling by MRT, shuttle bus, or taxi. The recommended gate is stated on the back of your ticket.
Singapore’s Changi Airport is 20km east of the city, and you can get a taxi to the track in 15-20 minutes. Alternatively, you can use the local metro service, the MRT, to reach central Singapore in around 30 minutes.
