RACE WEEKEND TRAVEL & PARKING

Getting to Sepang Circuit

Sepang Circuit

    Parking

If you are driving to the circuit, take the North-South Highway from Kuala Lumpar. A road access map can be found on the booking downloads area of your online account. Friday parking is paid-on-arrival at the circuit and cannot be pre-booked. However, we recommend booking parking for the Saturday and Sunday in advance in order to guarantee a space, particularly for grandstands near the Mall Area. Recommended parking areas are as follows:

    • Paddock, Premier Roving, Main Grandstand and K1 Grandstand- Bays 1, 2, 3 and PA1
    • C2 Hillstands - Bays 6, 7, 8 and 9
    • F Grandstand - Bays 14, 15 and 17

Parking is expected to go on sale in the next few days and will only be available as a physical pass for courier delivery bookings.

    Coach & Bus

There is a shuttle bus service run by rapidKL that runs from 2 different pick up points in Kuala Lumpur. The buses run every 30 minutes from the KL Sentral Station and KLCC, starting from 8:00am. The final bus to the circuit will be at 1:00pm. Buses will start leaving the circuit from 4pm, with the last bus scheduled at 7:30pm on Friday and Saturday, and 8:30pm on Sunday.

Additionally, there is a shuttle bus service from the Long-Stay car park at KL International Airport. If you wish to drive but avoid the traffic at the circuit, you can park at the Long-Stay car park, and take the shuttle bus across to the circuit.

Regular shuttle buses run from Nilai and KL International Airport train stations directly to the circuit for a nominal fee.

    Taxi

Taxis and limousines go to and from the circuit pick-up zone outside the main entrance. There can be long queues for a taxi at the end of the race so please make allowances for this. Look out for the Official F1 Sticker on taxis; these show that the taxi is registered and authorised to make drop-offs and pick-ups by the circuit gates.

    Train

Regular train services from all directions run to the nearby Nilai and Kuala Lumpur International Airport train stations. From here, either take a taxi or the shuttle bus to the circuit.

If you are travelling to the circuit from Kuala Lumpur, the fastest route is to take the KLIA Express to Kuala Lumpur International Airport and then take a shuttle bus or taxi to the track. A special ticket which includes the Express Rail Link to the airport and shuttle bus to the circuit is available, and we anticipate these going on sale shortly.
