The Korean International Circuit is situated around 370km from the capital Seoul in a rural location surrounded by beautiful natural landscape. The circuit was built on reclaimed land and comprises of two interchangeable tracks, the F1 track and a smaller permanent track.
The anti-clockwise circuit consists of 11 left turns and 7 right turns, a mix of sharp hairpins and high-speed corners. The track is part permanent and part temporary, with the temporary part of the track along the harbour where spectators from the promenade, hotels and yachts can view the race. One of the highlights of the track is the 1.2 km straight which is the longest straight of any current Asian Formula 1 circuit allowing for speeds of up to 320km/h.
