Formula One racing's governing body, the FIA, has provisionally released a 21-race calendar for the 2017 season. There's been a shuffle with the first few races; China now follows after Australia and replacing Bahrain as the second race. Malaysia has moved to the 17th September, whilst the Canadian, German and Brazilian races have not yet been confirmed. Hockenheim returns as Germany's host track, after the Nurburgring suffered from financial collapse and the work to modernise the Montreal circuit has not yet started.
The 2017 calendar had seen a number of rule changes that were agreed following a meeting of its World Motor Sport Council (WMSC) in Paris on Wednesday. The changes include Wet-weather standing starts, Helmet livery rules eased, Stockpiling power units prohibited and Fixed early-season tyre allocation.
