LAST MINUTE BRITISH GRAND PRIX TRAVEL

If you find yourself in a last minute panic about travel to the British Grand Prix, then you might want to consider the following:

• Circuit parking cannot be bought on the day, but nearby Whittlebury Park offers on-day parking. They can be contacted on 01327 858092 and their postcode is NN12 8XW, but avoid the A43 at all costs on race weekend to get to Whittlebury or you'll be trapped in the one-way system. Prices are £20.00 for Saturday and £25.00 on Sunday (cash only).
• A regular shuttle bus runs from Northampton train/bus station to the circuit - just show up and pay on the day. A return day trip is approximately £14.00 (cash only). More information can be found by clicking here.
• Taxis cannot take you to Silverstone circuit directly as they will be stuck in the one-way system. So there will be taxi and private hire vehicle dropping off and collection points near the 'Royal Oak' public house on Brackley Road.
• Motorbikes park free at the circuit - no parking pass is required, just turn up on the day.
