Nothing like Monaco!

, 28 Aug 2010
By James
Third time at Monaco, watched the race from Tribune N. Considering that this is one of the cheaper seats (if there is such a thing at Monaco!!) I was amazed at how much we could see. Absolutely superb. Could see loads of action, bits of the pit lane, and my girlfriend didn't know whether to look at the track, or the yachts 5 metres behind us- serious A list stars! Book F1.com were simple to use, tickets arrived on schedule, and I will use again. A really enjoyable and perfect experience.

Monaco GP best seats!

, 30 Jun 2010
By Heidi
Thursday spent in the grandstand just after La Rascasse, so close to the cars it was amazing. Raceday in A3 at St Devote brilliant view for the race and even though there is not a big screen you can actually see across the whole swimming pool section and see their big screen! Great seats and great weekend! :) ps dont even think about going in la rocher standing area, its cheap for a reason! save up and get grandstand seats!

Monaco GP 2010 was marvelous

, 27 Jun 2010
By Andre Janic
Thanks to F1book.com for 2010 Monaco GP professional tickets dispatch. Since volcanic ash cloud covers Western Europe in April/May I was not able to travel on time to Monaco by plane. I use my car instead to get there. Since I left home three days earlier tickets need to be send to another address within a 24 hours notice and they manage it! On my arrival to apartment tickets were waiting for me already!
Monaco GP was marvelous as usual-that was my second time-but there were less people on the grand stands then usually. Ongoing party everywhere since Thursday. Communication from Monaco to Italy and surroundings France destination a piece of cake. Just follow the signs. Stay longer in Monaco at Sunday –trains became empty after 21 00.If you are a big fan of “blink blink” people have your eyes wild open and have your camera ready for snap shot ,you might be surprised how many famous people walk and drive around. Try to sneak to the night clubs but do not expect it is easy and cheap. Anyway you will be exam by security and tickets are must. Do not miss the opportunity to drive the race track a day later, sip a coffee in a restaurant next to Casino and admire cars and people just passing by. Find time to visit a botanic garden, Casino (no persons below 18 allowed for entry) Prince Albert car’s collection and many, many more attractions. See you next year at GP then :)

T2 low - Review

, 07 Jun 2010
By Allan & Sarah
Had a wonderful weekend. Seats were in the grandstand, directly opposite the pits (Button & Hamilton garages), with Red Bull & Ferrari either side. Great view of the pit stops durig the races as well as the pre-race celebs pit-lane walks. Only negative was limited view of the race - although compensated by TV monitors, pit-lane view and the atmosphere. On the Friday had our own pit-lane walk (part of the ticket). access from Nice (and French rail) surprisingly extremely easy and not expensive.

Aussie trip to Monaco

, 31 May 2010
By Wardie
Wow what a way to finish off a 8 wk honeymoon.
We stayed in Menton, a short train ride down the coast to Monaco. Just follow the signs to your Grandstand. We had Tribune B on Sat, this section is really good viewing, full of action (thanks Alonso) infront of the casino, with a big screen (very important) behind the stand a nice lawned area with toilets and a lunch bar.
On Sun we had Tribune V, the last corner. Awesome, big screen, enterance to pit lane and you can see just how close the drivers come to the walls, and you can also see the pit boards. Behind the stand is a road, cliff face the general admin on the hill. Toilets are just up the road and food a little way further the other way. We took our lunches so no probs there.
This was certainly a very memorable weekend for us both, Fantastic.

should be advice re accessability at time of booking. view of race nil

, 30 May 2010
By Janice Pymm aka disgruntled!
No complaint about the service of ordering tickets and receiving them from your company but in my opinion if you do not arrive to Le Rocher area the night before or crack of dawn then you have no chance of a view. There was no crowd control and it is an accident waiting to happen. If anyone was taken ill in the middle of the jostling crowd then then it does not bear thinking about.

Satisfied

, 26 May 2010
By Alice
I'm absolutely satisfied about the great experience of Monaco F1 Grand Prix.
I must admit that it was quite tiring to walk from the car parking to the terraces of the circuit, but it was worth it !
It was so exciting, and I mean to be there next year.

Monaco 2010

, 26 May 2010
By Paul
We were in Tribune A2 which would have had a great view of the first corner at St Devote were it not for some trees which are planted right on the apex of the bend, you get a flash of the cars as they approach and then a flash as they climb up Beau Rivage, the central view is totally blocked. One thing which made up slightly for the limited view was that you can see the cars across the circuit as they go through Piscine.

would not go to Rocher again--it's dangerous; and you can't see. Also ,the thousands of empty seats, even on race-day shows the product is over-priced.

Monaco 2010 Rocher Never Again

, 25 May 2010
By Jeff Thompson - London
Drove to Monaco for F1 for birthday weekend. Fantastic drive around the track in own car at midnight Friday - very sorreal..
Saturday caught train from Nice to Monaco - about 3 euro each way - very cheap and not too crowded. Watched Qually from a Grandstand seat - very good indeed and easy to leave/come back to seat with refreshments surprisingly cheap and toilets within 20 metres just for that particular stand.

Sunday race day - got to Monaco about 10.30am for 2pm race. Went to Rocher area to watch as per tickets. Totally packed and complete waste of 55quid. Despite being so cheap it really is a waste of money. If you are fortunate enough to get there early enough to get a decent view, you'll find that you'll be standing or sitting at a steep slant angle on a back squashed amongst hundreds of others who have come after you. If you go to WC it would likely take 45 mins or longer due to how busy it is and then struggle to get your place back.

My partner & I left Rocher after trying for over an hour to find somewhere at least bearable.. We sold our tickets immediately for 20 euro each just to be rid of them.
Then found a few touters selling real decent trackside VIP tickets worth 600quid each for 200 euros. Splashed out and bought 2 which included free food and wine - had a fantastic day.

Would never by advance tickets again for Monaco as there's always restaurant promotional and balcony view tickets going an hour B4 the race at a knock down price.

Rocher

, 25 May 2010
By mike and debs
Obviously you can't expect a great view from Rocher, especially if you're not prepared to go very early and hold yourself a good position. If you can't afford anywhere else then it's worth a go. We happened to be very lucky and our neighbouring spectators gave us some of their space.

Seating location

, 24 May 2010
By Des Cahill
I had a ticket for Tribune M on Saturday. The seat spacing is far too tight and you get very cramped. I had to pass 16 people to get to my seat - a nightmare. Would not recommend this location. I was in low K3 on Sunday and had more elbow room. Generally the seating is very poor and needs upgrading to eliminate the feeling of being ripped off. Monaco has little respect for faithful fans.

Couldn't fault a thing

, 24 May 2010
By Amanda
I booked this trip for my formula 1 mad boyfriend for Christmas. I booked tickets with Bookf1.com and my experience was excellant. I booked a voucher for seats in O low (as tickets arrive 2 weeks before the race)and it arrived in time for Christmas. In April I booked tickets for Tribune A1 & T1 for the Thurs & Sat. No problems adding tickets so long after. All my tickets arrived without a hitch even during the volcano ash cloud!(we live in Ireland) On thurs we had seats in T1, great seats looking over the pits aswell as the track. Had a great view of the drivers walking out and the action in the pits. Seats in A1 were great only fault was no screen but we knew this booking these seats. Tribune O low for Sun were excellant seats. On the Friday we did the pitwalk and were able to walk around the stands and saw views from all stands and if the truth be known I don't think there is a bad seating area - they all had something different with good views. The organistaion in Monaco is superb-very relaxed and plenty of refreshments available. All in all it was an amazing experience and would highly recommend it. We certainly will plan a trip again next year and will book with bookf1.com without a doubt!

1st time at Monaco

, 24 May 2010
By Terry Thomas
A throughly enjoyable weekend. Weather was great and people were very friendly. Loved the fact that we were able to "Walk" the track prior to the race. Was surprised to notice that it was not a sold out event. There were dozens & dozens of seats left empty in the grandstands.
Sitting on the Rocher, to get the best views, you had to get there very very early. And even that may not have helped, as we found that people have arrived days before, chained their chairs & tables arounds trees, cordoned off the best areas with tape and rope. The views of the town & yatchs was spectacular. Getting a cushion to sit on is definately a must, as my backside was now the same shape as the rock I was sitting on for over the 3 days.
I loved the fact that we were very close to the bridge where the drivers left the yatchs and came onto the circuit. All the drivers were friendly and waved to us.
The Red Bull Dj's were pretty cool as well. Definately going back next year.

Monaco Grand Prix

, 24 May 2010
By Michael, Bradford
Went for the full weekend, Thurs - Mon (well Tues actually because the volcanic ash meant an 11 hour delay coming back but this did not spoil a brilliant weekend). Went with my son a F1 enthusiast. We stayed 4 nights (only £14 more for the 4th (Sun) night) at a reasonable hotel in Nice - old building but good and clean. Staff spoke very good English and were very helpful. We were in a rush to get from Nice airport to the hotel to dump our luggage and get to Monaco for the Thurs practice. Therefore took a taxi to the hotel - ripped off a bit - charged 39EUR (later told by the hotel that it should be 29 during the day). Learned our lesson going back - caught airport bus from the station - 4 EUR each and nearly as quick. Hotel only 10 mins walk from the station. Bought train tickets in advance for all 4 days to save queuing, but well organised by Nice station people anyway. Only 20 mins or so to Monaco - approx 7 EUR per day return. Tickets for Tribune T on Thursday. Missed F1 practice but saw other good racing and great view of the pits.
Friday - free grandstand entry for practice and qualifying for non-F1 events. Can walk pits in the afternoon - just show Sat/Sun ticket. Afterwards we walked the whole course. In the evening we wandered around Casino Square - never seen as many Ferraris together in one place!
Saturday - sat in Tribune B - Casino Square, great seats. Saw Alonso lose it in Sat practice - got good photos of his busted Ferrari being lifted from the track. As MacLaren/Lewis Hamilton supporters, not too disappointed at this! Bought sandwiches and drinks from stall behind the stand. Reasonable prices for Monaco and a nice park area to sit out in the sun. You get pass-outs so can come and go as you please and don't lose your seat. Big screen in Casino Square so can see what is happening elsewhere. After qualifying went down to the paddock to gawp at the team motor homes - although this is understating it -some are massive, like mini houses. If you are lucky you might see some drivers and other personalities. We kept bumping into Eddie Jordan (perhaps I am using "personality" in the broader sense here!). Then free to wander round the harbour to see all the yachts and boats. Absolutely amazing, and so easy to wander about - just like walking the course, we were not constantly confronted by "No Entry" signs - unlike the UK where you can't do anything or go anywhere. Had a meal at Stars & Bars. Bit disappointed - unless you are lucky enough to get a table outside at the edge of the paddock area, not much chance of seeing a driver, and not cheap.
Sunday - race day. We had brilliant seats in Tribune K. Well done bookF1.com! Very back row which meant we could stand up as much as we liked without obstructing anyone's view. Had a great view of cars coming out of the left hander after the long straight from the tunnel, and then going into the swimming pool chicane. We were also directly over the pit lane and start and finish straight so could turn round in our seats and watch the cars streak by. The view was interrupted by fir trees but we still got some blurred red, silver and yellow photos that I am reliably informed were racing cars! And the noise was unbelievable. Ear plugs required here - the noise reverberates round the enclosed streets.
All in all a brilliant weekend. You might see a bit more on TV, but no substitute for the incredible atmosphere, the colour, the noise and the excitement. Ate out in Nice a couple of times. Great city - literally masses of places to eat out in street restaurants, and lovely walks along the promenade and coffee on the beach ( care - a bit pricey!).
Full marks to bookF1.com. I might have saved some money buying tickets in Monaco (there were spaces in all the stands we went in) but I wanted to be certain of getting the best seats, and as a one-off didn't mind paying for them.

Monaco Grand Prix 2010

, 24 May 2010
By Rachel Day
It was a great weekend and experience - would have just liked more advice up front on where to sit and what you would/would not be able to see? Looking at the track I had thought we were opposite the start line, but because of trees this wasn't possible to see, there was a stand that overlooked the pits that would have been preferable but you are not aware until you get there.
