JAPANESE FORMULA 1 GRAND PRIX
Introduction
Suzuka Circuit is 50km south west of Nagoya, Japan’s third largest city. It is the only F1 race track that follows a figure-of-eight format, where the circuit passes over itself.
Airport
The nearest airport is Centrair, Nagoya, which is approximately 50km from the circuit.
Accommodation
The most convenient hotels are within the grounds of the Suzuka Circuit. Alternatively you can try one of the local towns or even commute in from Nagoya, where lower cost options are available.
Getting to the Circuit
You may want to consider the following options in getting to the circuit:
- Train - The closest railway station to the circuit is Shiroko Station. From there take a 15 minute taxi ride to the circuit.
- Car - Parking is on a first come-first serve basis with limited parking available. It is highly recommended that you use public transport.
- Bus - Bus services run from Nagoya Airport to Kintetsu Yokkaichi Station. From there take a train to Shiroko Station and then a taxi to the circuit.
- Boat - Take a boat from Nagoya Airport to Tsu Nagisamachi/ Yokkaichi Hamazono Port then transfer by car or train.
