HUNGARIAN FORMULA 1 GRAND PRIX
Below you will find reviews, ratings, and tips on the circuit from other race fans.
Circuit and facilities good. Plenty of staff, security and police.
Permanent toilets superbly clean. (Excellant teams cleaning all the time)
Free bus from underground to circuit very poor. Long wait and severe overcrowding. Consider busses were allowed to be overloaded to a dangerous extent. Even when overloaded the buses waited in 34C heat until their alloted time. Long uphill walk from drop off point to circuit. Buses need to be more frequent and allowed to drop off closer. Dangerous overloading must not be allowed to continue for health and safety purposes.

If starting from pit walk on Thursday, we were disappointed. There were so many people, it was so crowded, that there were no chance to see at least part of the "show". That all could be much better organized, autographs could be given more far away from boxes, on other side of circuit, people wouldn't have to stand in one big crowd. Some other show events could be placed on some other corner, why everything has to be on one point.. Thanks for a cold watter :) The seats under roof were almost empty, what was a pity shame for such a hot weekend, why not to have those tickets cheaper. One of the best things was the area of the general admission, you can be anywhere you like, you do not have to be in crowd as it was in Nurburgring. The latter one was inconvenient because you kind of had to stay in a balloon of cigarette smokes, and no way to skip that. Hungaroring is super for general admission. The Red Bull seats were very good as well, nice about screens to be close and it's possible to see the podium of the winners close enough on the left. Also, it was quick enough to access the circuit by car, and easy to leave. Thanks for all those good things.
The danubius stand (I know one of the cheapest tickets) gave quite a poor view as it is a tad low down and on an angle to the available screen (but still quite easy to see). You could tell how bad the seats were as there were a lot of people that didnt take up their seats and simply sat an the very large grass bank area within the gated part of that stands area. All in all though a good weekend (now wheres that after sun..........). Cheers
I'm not a Grand Prix fanatic, and this was my first time at such an event, but it was good fun. By all accounts the Hungarian track and facilities are a bit more basic than those on the rest of the Grand Prix circuit, but it was fine and had a lot of charm. Viewing was good from the grandstand (Gold) and the atmosphere was exciting.
