The Circuit of the Americas is a purpose built, 5.513km track with drastic elevation changes and high speed corners. It is the tenth American track to feature on the Formula 1 calendar but is currently the only track in the United States being used on the Formula 1 circuit.

The track runs anti-clockwise and has a total of 20 turns, 9 right-turns and 11 left-turns. The start is famed for the steep, 41 metre incline into turn one, which always ensures an eventful start to the race. The circuit, which has taken inspiration from various other tracks such as Silverstone, Hockenheimring and Istanbul Park, has a top speed of 195mph.
First brought onto the F1 calendar in 2012, the Circuit of the Americas is fast becoming one of the season favourites due to the consistent good race weekend weather and eventful races.
