you need to get to the sector rocher about wednesday to get your "pitch". buy cheap fold up chairs , chain and steak them down and leave them there,otherwise you just have to join the free for all of the masses saying this though the sector rocher has an unbelievable atmosphere and banter.a few notes of caution dont be tempted to walk around town with your shirt off , and.. whatever you do, do not bypass the the toilets and be tempted to "p" in the bushes . the monaco police will extend your stay considerably. all this taken into consideration an awsome experience and going back next year thank you book f1

Monaco suggestion

The map in the official programme gives a more accurate diagram of the ciruit with the location of the grandstands. I had not, for example, realised that there was water between Grandstand N and the circuit, whereas that was not true for Grandstand K (one end of which had a much less good view incidentally). (It did, for example, usefully cut down the noise level somewhat.) If that map could be included on your website, that would make the selection of the most suitable grandstand easier.
The efficiency of loading the grandstands was impressive.

What a fantastic time we had and I would use bookf1 again. The booking was easy, we received a return email with booking ref. no. were updated when tickets had been dispatched. Everything went like clockwork.

Fantastic weekend - Shame about the seats

Indescribable weekend, absolutely fantastic, trip of a lifetime.
Shame about the seats in Tribune P, not much to see.
and the big screen to the left of us was obscured by supports from the stand
it was attached to. Would look for better viewing seats in the future.

Booking accomadation close to railwaystation in niece as well a purchasing train tickets prior to leaving home made getting to monaco so easy, dont forget ear plugs and camera

Lifetime experience - Monaco 09

1st visit to a GP and what a visit! Wow! Can't fault BookF1 service, very helpful over the phone and tickets arrived when they said. Wouldn't get the radios again as you couldn't hear them (guess that depends on where your seats are), but Kangaroo TV worked for person next to us. We had seats for V on Sat, and for P on Sun - V stand was better, right opposite the pit entrance and 10ft from the cars (you do get covered in rubber - fantastic!) O is better then P from a big screen point of view. Stayed in Nice and used train - no problems if you catch early train (8am) and come back a bit later, plenty to eat and drink and toilets well signposted, hot weather obviously helped but you really can't beat the experience for glamour, noise, people-spotting etc. Worth waiting an hour or so after Sat practice till they open the circuit, you can get right down to the Paddock and check-out the motor homes! Couldn't do it every year (due to cost !) but as a lifetime experience everyone should do it once.

Very special weekend

A spectacular weekend which was very well organised. The only slight disappointment was the limited view we had of the track from Tribune L especially given the price of the seats (we wish we had realised this before purchasing as Tribune K and O had better views). However, the tight corner suggested we might see some action which we did when a McLaren crashed into the wall right in front of us. The superb view of the pit lane made up for the limited view of the track. Being so close to the water and the boats also countered our initial disappointment. All and all a great weekend which we would recommend to anyone.

Standing in one position for 6 hours on a very steep slope !!! not very pleseant. Would not repeat the experience. We are all still recovering ! If it had been raining we would have gone to a bar it would have been horendous conditions, the actual bank to sit on was just dirt and rubble not plesant. However it was another experience to tick of our list. Next time it will be grandstand !!

Brilliant weekend! We stayed in Nice and travelled to Monaco by train. The train service was second to none. No waiting time and very frequent. Nice to Monaco only 4 stops and there are also certain trains that go straight through. Average travel time 10 - 15 mins! Race weekend was fantastic, good atmosphere, exciting, a definate 'must see' experience. Refreshments readily available, well catered for and we were looked after really well by the locals, especially at Tabac cafe. The weather was much hotter than we had anticipated, but we came home with a lovely colour.

Great view from Tribune V. But don't wear a white T-shirt as you'll be covered in flecks of rubber because you're so close to the track. If you stay over, take time to visit Menton a little further up the coast towards Italy.

Trees on the rock

Next year I will buy the tickets in Monaco on the day of the race. It is cheaper!
It would be a great improvement if they would trim the trees on the rock. I suppose that some environmental group or other prevents that.
