HUNGARIAN FORMULA 1 GRAND PRIX
Below you will find reviews, ratings, and tips on the circuit from other race fans.
I really enjoyed the race and support races, too:)
Sat on Silver 2 Grandstand which is a great spot for seeing lots of corners - the circuit was very clean and well laid out with plenty of places to get food and drink. Not a great overtaking circuit so not massively exciting - but still recommended. Booking service was very fast and efficient, staff very friendly and helpful.
Thank you for exelente organizacion and very good party for me and my family. We spent a great time in Hungary and we wish you a many years of good, successful work. We have a big impresions about Hungary Grand Prix and we will visit you next year for sure

Fantastic atmosphere and glorious weather couldn't take from the lack of racing excitement especially lack of overtaking opportunities. Facilities OK, but food not great for the prices charged... in fact food not great full stop. Am I glad I went?, Yes definitely. Would I go again? Yes, to Hungary but NOT to Hungaroring.
Service received from Book F1 was exceptional, especially from Paul Deason who had the patience of Job in dealing with my queries. Well done Paul and thanks. Pity the design of Hungaroring makes for a pedestrian race but the experience was memorable.
I had a great weekend in Hungary, this was my 1st F1 Grand prix so difficult to compare but really enjoyed the experience.
The whole days experience was fantastic as it was the first time we'd been to a F1 GP other than Silverstone and the first time our children had come with us. The weather being so good definitely helped as don't think it would be good for fans if wet! We just had general admission tickets which in hindsight if we were to go again we'd pay the extra for seats as we were limited to what we could see. Loved going on the track at the end of the race though seeing the podium & pits etc. Bit of a downer at the end though having to wait over 2 hours in the heat for a taxi back to Budapest city. Loved Budapest - excellent city.
Excellent track, beautiful country
Tickets were delivered on time and on line support (email) worked very well during the purchasing process. We should wear the ticket on out neck for verification process all the time, however the plastic envelope and the neck strap were not provided. Would be also good to have a map of the paid parking lots near there as the free ones were full.
This was our first visit to the Hungaroring and we had a great day out. Our seats were in Silver 5 stand, great view of the corner but no shade. Handy for food and loos though so would recommend if you can't get the posh seats! Would definately book again through BookF1.com as very efficient service.
Great weekend, very hot, great city, overall a fantastic experience.
Friday night was good seeing Lewis outside the Hugo Boss shop.
Although a good circuit, it was quite difficult to get to. We avoided taxis because they were expensive. We therefore relied on tram, metro and HEV. However the Hungaroring is a fair hike from the circuit, along a dirt/rubble track. Coming back we decided on the free bus but again it was a fair hike to the bus, there was a huge crowd waiting and the bus journey was long, extremely hot and we were packed in like sardines. Traffic was stop/start all through the village until we got out onto the main road, although there was a big police presence helping to control the flow of traffic. There wasn't much variety of food at the track and the toilets were dirty, flooded and overflowing. We do lots of walking, cycling etc so are both fairly fit and it wasn't too much of a problem for us but for anyone who isn't used to that amount of exercise I think they would have suffered. I have restricted my comments to the grand prix because that's what you've asked for feedback on, but Budapest itself was absolutely gorgeous, public transport was spot on time and the cakes and cappuccino were to die for!
iv been to sliverstone before but the atmosphere at this race was better then two times as good but dnt expect free rain of the track and would buy tickets for the sliver 1 grandstad that i got into by runnig in a rush AND FINDING A TICKET ON THE GROUND before the race as al grenal admisison ticket areas are kept well above the grandstands simply due to the fact of sellig more grandstands tickets as there is more then enough room closer to the action had the correct fenching been in place (the Type Found at olton park or mondello} Say what you may about not paying extra for grandstands but a 18 year old form the island of ireland paid the cost of th plane hotel are not counted in the 150 euro ticket cost and being you're third grand prix just a WARNING TO THE F1 PROMOTERS DONT LOSE REAL FANS OVER A QUIK BUCK CONOR
RedBull seats are fantastic value for money. Note, there is a train from Budapest to Hungaroring - there's about a 1/2 hour walk from the temporary station to the circuit but it avoids all the traffic!
There were plenty of eating and drinking places available - especially along the pit straight (not sure about other areas of the circuit). Walking around the circuit was a little busy on the Saturday but they had got their act together by the Sunday.
Budapest is a beautiful city so this is an ideal circuit to go to if you want to combine racing with a city break.
Fantastic city and fantastic circuit
