GERMAN FORMULA 1 GRAND PRIX
Below you will find reviews, ratings, and tips on the circuit from other race fans.
We had a great view, but we couldn't hear most things the commentators were saying as the cars just drowned them in the noise. Second thing: you couldn't actually read anything on the huge screens. You could see drivers and overtaking manouvers, but no speed times, etc. If they had a huge screen giving only the place and time of the drivers in large Font, that would help dramatically to understand what's going on. Apart from that, we enjoyed it.
Very good seat in grandstand. Good facilities.
Had a great time at th German GP nice crowd very friendly people Germans, alo site very good for choice and price of food all eating areas clean and lenty seating, would reccomend the German track
VERY BIG PROBLEM WITH PARKING PLACE 2-3 KM FROM CIRCUIT
good venue, reasonable cost
Seats were great, could see 75% of the races, stalls & stands great. Camping has never been so good, met lots of new people. In all terrific. Thanks. Scottish fan.
Well, that's my fault I suppose.
I went on my motorbike. Parking P2 was allocated to bikes but few of those guarding gates and directing traffic knew this, so I only got to park in the right place on day 2.
Hockenheim has good viewing but the place is getting tatty and tired. I wonder why Bernie thinks Silverstone is such a problem.
I easily found a hotel in Worms (not the usual jokes, please), which worked well, even if it looks a bit far. I never plan in advance!
An enjoyable weekend with the right result!
organisation was 'typically german', i.e. v good. shuttle buses only from the hockenheim train station, not from heidelberg or mannheim. best bit: you can access the track after the race, to get your great close-up shots of the cars etc.
Brilliant weekend we were in the Mercedes stand the view of race is excelllent.
Plenty going on all weekend in the Mr
Mercedes area - bands former drivers
and also got to have a go in CL63AMG
So all in all very impressive weekend
excellent service in getting tickets
to us in time due to late decision to go to Hockenheim after attending
Eifel rally on previous 2 days.
Attending grand prix was icing on the cake.
Great seats considerin the late booking
Many thanks
German GP at Hockenheim.
Great result and interesting race, forgotten how loud F1 cars are. Shame it wasn't on the old circuit, as i believe some of the character has gone, but still a very enjoyable meeting. However F1 is still poor value compared to Moto GP.
One thing i need to point out is my TOTAL satisfaction with the service and support received from bookF1.com - superb job, many thanks.
(2004 and 2004) My favourite circuit (from Spa and Silverstone) thanks to great views of the hairpin, despite having only a bronze ticket. It may not have the charm of Spa but the excitement at that corner makes it all worthwhile - and there's a large beer tent nearby to help get you through the scorching weather. In 2004 there was also the bonus of a look around the pits on Thursday afternoon.
