CANADIAN FORMULA 1 GRAND PRIX
Below you will find reviews, ratings, and tips on the circuit from other race fans.
Pick up of tickets was easy - picked up from a station very near to the track. No complaints - great weekend.
bought general admission tickets and with hindsight would try and buy grandstand tickets next time as general admission views are getting very limited. we were lucky enough to be given end of pit lane grandstand tickets for the 2nd free practice on friday and could follow the rest of the track on the big screens but unless you pay $80 a day for the excellent kangaroo tv you are relying on others to keep you informed. But overall, for an F1 virgin i thoroughly enjoyed myself and my ears are still buzzing!!
Gen Adm. was cheap...but I will never get it anymore...ever....I`ll be back with a better TKT next year... (( but thanks BOOK F-1 )) at least a got what iI paid for...!!!! thanks once again.............EDGE............
I had a great experience thanks bookf1
this is my eight race at my montreal
Thank you for the Canadian GP tix! My son and I are planning to attend next year's race and wonder if there are any seats in Grandstand 12, section 7, up high? From that vantage we can see both the Start-Finish straightaway and the first three turns. We were in Grandstand 12, section 3, row V, which was okay, had a great view of turn 3, where there was a lot of action - passing and loss of control, but section 7 would be better overall. One thing that you did not mention in the itinerary you provided was the Pit Walk on Thursday, June 5th. Although we did not need tickets for that event specifically, we did need to show that we had tickets for the Sunday race. You may want to include the Thursday event in your next itinerary. Otherwise, I was very happy with the service I received from your company.
Yours truly,
Dale Walker
Perfectly organized even. Lots of fun. Seats are hard so travel with cusion, other than that - awesome !
Nice circuit with reasonable views of track supplemented by good giant TV's.
Metro into track good, food fine loo's ok. Very little shade or shelter so take some shading and waterproofs, also something to sit on as the benches are v.hard.
Great weekend wouldn't have missed it. Shame about the boy wonder.
Grandstands 1 is too close to the track and gives very limited view of the race specially if you are in the lower rows. Could be a bit more distant to provide better viewing.
I would recommend getting ticket for a stand the views from General admission looked pretty rubbish. I couldnt believe the noise of these cars!!!
Kubica #1, next World Champion
had a great time thanks for your service
Loved every moment of the trip could not ask for anything more it was the best time of my life
We had an amazing experience for our 1st time Grand Prix and I garantee we'll be back next year. The only down side, for who is driving, is the very feel road signs leading to racing location. Tips, definitely, choose the metro as your transportation!
I attended the Canadian Grand Prix 2006 and I can say only one word: Superb. I was sitting in the Grandstand #2 and the view to the pit stop in addition to the sound of the mechanics are amazing. I had a very nice weekend in Montreal and at the Grand Prix. The atmosphere in the city , in the circuit is genial. Some advices: Bring your own food because the one they sell is not so good and quite expensive, temperatures were extremely hot and do not buy your souvenirs at the tube station. Things are cheaper inside the circuit and particularly in the stands. So if you want to buy Honda or Mc Laren souvenirs.... go to their OWN STANDS, inside the circuit.
General admidmission access is horrible! There is virtually no where to see the race. Dont buy them or you will be sorry.
This was my third time at the Canadian GP and it just keeps getting better. I've been in general entry in the past, which has been good but this year went for the grandstands. The views are fantastic and it makes the experience ten times better! If you can afford it then definately pay the extra bucks. Also there's often a lot of space so you can spread out and relax. Enjoy.
I went to the 2004 Canada Grand Prix and it's my favourite yet! Canada itself was amazing, and the F1 was jam packed with action. The circuit is great and you can get some good views from most places. Definately recommend it if you can go. Might see you there next year!
This was a good Grand Prix and I had lots of fun. But in my opinion the European ones have a slight edge.
