Canada Grand Prix

General Admission

The General Admission ticket I was told I would be able to roam around the track and see the race from any angle I could find, this was not the case. Many areas of the track are restricted for general admission, the only real spot to watch the race is on the side of turn 6 I believe. The only problem with it is that its a piece of complete flat land. This means only the people towards the front could really see anything. I would suggest they make it an enbankment so that more people can see and that they allow people to actually roam around the track, they should clear up some trees and make more spots to watch from. I would happily pay a little more for the ticket to actually be able to watch the race. The other thing I didn't like was that we all had to park really far away from the track and then take a cab to the track and on the way back we had to walk to the car which was about 10 miles away, after standing under the hot sun for 2 hours it is not what you want to do!

Everything else was great, I was impressed with the city, the track, the casino, etc.

Best seats in F1? Maybe they are!

The Canadian grand prix was our first so we do not have much reference but I can say the view and action from the Silver 24 stands was amazing. The cars enter your view at top speed then brake for the hairpin at maximum g's. Then they streak in front of you at full throttle banging of several gear changes down the Casino straight! We spent every waking moment we could at the track watching the support races like The vintage grand prix (there is no other sound like a 60's Ferrari V-12 at full song) the Ferrari challange and formula 1600. Then the F1 cars of course for practice 1,2,3,qualifying and the race. The track let's you bring in coolers so we had cold suds all weekend and we met great people around us who were extremely friendly and very knowlegable. A guy behind us was from Germany and had been to at least 10 different tracks around the world and he said Canda was one of his favorites and our seats were among the best in all of F1!!! Hard for me to argue!

The best facility for watching a race that I have ever experienced. a relaxed atmosphere, incredibly easy access via subway, 45 minutes from the hotel to our seats and the same on the return, compared to hours of time at a NASCAR or IRL race.
An enjoyable experience in a great city.

Our tickets from Book F1 were perfect! This was our first time booking tickets through the internet and I can say the experience was wonderful. Book F1 provided fabulous service and follow-up. The race weekend could not have been better - especially since Lewis Hamilton won! I will definately book tickets for future races again through Book F1.

Another Great Weekend for Canadian F1 Grand Prix

Montreal is a wonderful city. The people are kind and helpful, restaurants and shopping excellent, and access to the track is great. The fast track with long straights and sharp, tight corners makes this a must see race for F1 fans.

Satisfied my curiosity

I have been an F1 fan for more than 10 years and this was my first live race attendance. I was a little dissapointed with the experience from the stadium tickets I purchased. I think a much better experience would have been general admission with kangaroo tv. The grandstands pack people in like sardines and everyone stands up in front of you, so you are forced to stand for much of the race anyway. General admission get almost the same experience for far far less money.

Cannot recommend this GP highly enough. Only 6hrs from the UK. The circuit is easily accessible; the Island it's located on is beautiful and plenty of facilities trackside. The Montrealean's sure love their F1 and sure know how to party. The tickets we got from bookF1 couldn't have been better, right on the start/stop line (which gave us a great view of Hamilton driving into Kimi)! Although next time I go (and I will!) would probably buy seats for 1st corner as the views from their look amazing!

Great race - great customer service

Montreal continues to be a great venue. As I get older -- the walk to 11/12 seems longer and longer :) but still worth it. Getting off the island is always a challenge but what 'ya going to do.

The level of customer service given to us by Paul Deason and others will keep us coming back to BookF1.

The Dane in Montreal

I spend 3 very nice days in Montreal. Everything was great. The logistic was perfect. Easy to get food and drinks, easy to get to the track and back, nice stands, lots of fun on the stands with the other spectators. The only complaint I have is, that you use FedEx to deliver the ticket. If it hadn't been for a very honest man in our neighbor town, I would not have got my ticket. Fedex scrued up very badly, so I think you should have a conversation with them to ensure, that such mistakes not will be repeatet. Thank from Poul in Denmark

Canada Grand Prix 2008

My expereince has been fantastic thanks to BookF1.com. The purchase of tickets went smoothly and the race was a first time experience for me. I went with a total of 10 friends and it was amazing. I cannot really speak to the comparison of this Grand Prix to another but the overall expereince was phenomenal. The shear power of these cars in person is unreal. It's really just too bad that Lewis rear-ended Kimi in the pit. but even with two great racers out I had a blast!
