BRITISH FORMULA 1 GRAND PRIX

Great day out, just wish the parking was a bit closer, but you get what you pay for and it was free lol

Attended the British Grand Prix for the 1st time , always wanted to go but never made the jump. Went with my eldest lad and it was truly an amazing day out from start to finish, from the park and ride to the course itself - food was pricey but you know that before you go so you take supplies. The day was amazing as was the view from copse corner and will never forget it - so much so have booked for next year already. The noise and the experience was superb and enjoyed it soo much.

A brilliant, intoxicating, tiring and exhilarating week-end. Practice sessions and qualifying really worthwhile watching. Silverstone radio is a must for the week-end.

Amazing experience...first time and definately hooked...full day out on race day with 4 races, parade, red arrows, lots of food and drink outlets, merchandising, bungee jumping, post race concert was like being at a festival, being allowed to go on the circuit afterwards and walk around (kissed the track), see pits and cars up close, all so interesting and great atmosphere...will hope to go every year from now on while I can...service from bookF1 was superb...

Slight problems with buses when leaving the circuit

Enjoyed excellent day at the GP. I travelled up from London on the day wit hmy 10 year old son. Was concerned it would all be a bit exhausting but arrangements went very well - hired a car from Heathrow (the only pick-up site open for a very early start - ie 5.30am), and used Park-and-ride from Hinton. Well-organised, and we were at our seats around 9am. Toilet facilities inside Silverstone were PATHETIC and the only blot on the experience - as males we could cope OK but the queues for ladies' facilities were ridiculously long and constant. I won't comment on the racing as it is better reported elsewhere, but it was a great day. We sat at Club corner in the new stands, had a very good view.

Great weekend recommend the park and ride as much easier for traffic apart from exit on park and ride on Sunday - carnage is the word as only one exit road and every one pushing around no organisation for exit.

Great racing. A bit muddy getting in and out of the site and a definite lack of toilets.

this was d greatest weekend iv ever had! I would recommend stayin in northampton. The bus at d train station was always on time goin to and from silverstone. The track is so big so walkin shoes ard a must! Even though it may rain that doesnt wreck d day. Gettin there early on sunday is a must! If not u wont get a good view. Copse e was great. Seen lots of action and near over taking. Bring ur own food. There are hundreds of mobile catering bu they are very expensive! I would totally recommend goin to the British grand prix if u are a formula 1 fan.. Its amazing!

Three days general admission was a good ticket as it allowed us to try a number of different locations in the lead up to the main race on Sunday. Friday was a free for all with access to most grandstands and was convenient when the heavens opened. For the race day the gates opened at 6 am and the queues at 5.20 am were already a couple hundred metres long. The entertainment and the e-zone areas were okay and they both finished early on the Friday and Saturday (approx 8pm). Remember to take your own chairs for Race day and to take umbrella, rain jackets and sun screen as there was a number of different weather conditions experienced. People were trolleying around ice boxes with beers in it no problem.

There was plenty of food and beverage stands and the men waiting in line for the toilets instead of the women was a novelty. Earlier the better with general admission on the race day and try to pick the gate closest to your intended viewing area. They advertised that there would be no access to the track but this was changed at the last minute so if you want to get closer to the action for the presentation ceremony then Club corner is the place to be to get in early before it all ends.

Toilet access poor (large queues) Ground conditions needs attension, Biggest thing for me is that silverstone needs more general admission areas for seating just like other tracks around europe, As i was unable to upgrade so had to fight for a good veiwing, Another point is camping was very exspensive and would possibly stop me from going again.

It was mine and my sons 1st grand prix and we were not dissapointed, we can't wait to go again!!!!

Bus service from Northampton to track too expensive and drops you off some distance from the track.

Track officials on site uncertain about stand locations and gave wrong directions. This coupled with a lack of signage directions made it difficult for a first time visitor to get to his/her seat.

Great experience

Overall was my visit to Silverstone really good. But i found that there was a lack of toilet facilities, which was quite anoying. Often there was a line as long as to London to get to the toilet. Often with the result of peeing in the bushes. And its a shame that only some grandstand are with roof. Why is that, i cant see the point. Its expensive enough. Besides that, i loved it. Great show. From the minute we booked the tickets for Christmas presents Book F1 were fantastic. The camping was second to none and the access we had to the track was amazing - only a 10 minute walk from caravan/tent to the gate!!! Our age range was from 17months through to our 20's and then up to 50, we had the best weekend and have been asked if we can give the same Christmas presents again this year - we will definately use book F1. Thank You.

Very good circuit layout and view points. Disappionted there was no Thusday pit walk like other F1 circuits

myself and 2 kids travelled by bus from York, very helpful friendly drivers. Getting back out of silverstone has never been so easy . We walked around the circuit lots to see. One mistake - we left rain coats and umbrellas on bus so we got wet for 15 mins, but people sat next to us very kindly lent kids a large flag so they were ok. Great atmosphere .
