BELGIAN FORMULA 1 GRAND PRIX

Had a great time but parking bad and as above to far to walk.

Would recommend anyone to go to Spa to see F1, Bronze tickets are great, we sat at Pouhon, i think its the best place to see fantastic view down the straight and round. You do need to get there early to get a good spot on race day we were there at 6.45 am doors opened at 7.30. But it was worth it. Only quibble is the price of food and drinks, very expensive and very little variety. 5 euro chips , 6 euros for a hotdog 4 for a waffle. that is all they offer. We took stuff in so not a problem.
The place is lovely, set in the forest, but not good if you are not fit or disabled in anyway. very steep hills to climb.
We had a great time and will be going again.

The track & the race were fantastic. We were in grandstand C at the Chicane, the position of which was excellent.
However, having paid almost £500 per ticket, the facilities around the grandstand were grim. Mud & dirty portaloos. Grubby food kiosks.
Parking was even worse. A long walk, from a low boggy meadow, where many people got stuck on Fri & Sat. Fortunately their was no rain on Sun but it still took over two hours to leave the car park?

After I booked the seats I phoned to find out about access for anyone like ourselves who is disabled. The response was accurate for which I thank you, after you phoned the circuit, the car park which we booked with you was equidistant with the one provided by the circuit for the disabled and was 800 meters from the entrance. This was true but what they didn't say was that the seats were at least another 800 meters further on. Had we been more disabled this would have been impossible, as it was we only just were able to make it.

I only purchased race tickets through yourselves and due to my companions health problems, had to swap them, and the service and assistance received from you was second to none!! There was a slight problem with the coach sunday morning - it seemed it wasnt big enough!! - so we did have a delay leaving Brussels whilst another coach was arranged for those without seats. As ever leaving Francorchamps by road was a bit slow-going but that is the norm there! Our view etc was largely dictated by my companions' physical restrictions so couldnt be helped as she could not go very far, knowing we had to get the return coach at 4.30, but we were there early enough to get a decent view at the top of Eau Rouge so was a decent enough compromise! Spa does have its failings with facilities but those would never stop me going - it is the most stunning circuit and always well worth the journey and effort involved! Thanks again for your assistance with our ticket swap/coach purchase etc - I would recommend you to anyone and would still advise every race fan that they should do the Belgian Grand Prix at least once (although they would probably find themselves hoooked!!! : )

Loved the three days. Food awful and outrageously priced (£1 for sauce on your chips getaway) £7 hamburger - with a mask you would be arrested. £25 per baby teeshirt for our grandsons hmmm. Great circuit, great view, great fun - don't like being ripped off. £16 to park in a field - but well managed!

First Time at Spa, fantastic day, sat between eau rouge and les coombes opposite TV screen, excellent view good atmosphere. Track facilities excellent, coach and ticket service spot on-no complaints.

Overall, we very much enjoyed the weekend. We were happy with the Bronze tickets as they allowed us to be flexible with where we watched the race from, but remember that you're in a forest, with insects (especially wasps). I would recommend wearing Wellington boots because it gets very muddy. We chose to stay in Liege and get the train to Verviers and then the bus to Francorchamps. On Friday there was no shuttle bus so we had to rely on the hourly local buses. We got to the circuit but on the way back people were waiting up to 2 hours to get back to Verviers. On Saturday and Sunday there was a fairly frequent shuttle from Verviers to the circuit for €6 return (a weekend ticket was slightly cheaper). The buses only drop you off at Source, so it's a long walk to e.g. Combes. The buses only seem to pick you up from the bus stop at Francorchamps. Drinks at the circuit are very expensive so bring your own. We would definitely go again to Spa as the track lived up to its reputation.

The seats were great and dry !! The camping well what can I say we traveled over night on the Wednesday so could be all set up and get some sleep and get to the pit walk in the afternoon ( which was brilliant) on arrival they were some sign for yellow camping but they came to and end and NO CAMP SITE!? so we asked at the main gate they pointed us in the right direction so to be sure we asked at the next gate and they gave us directions we looked for the camp site for a total of 2 hours is was ridiculous and very annoying. We then got taken to the camp site by a local person nothing to do with the camp site ao we were about to put our tent up and got told by someone else we were not aloud to camp there! we went back to the main gate again and they got on the radio to find out where to send us this took a further 10 minutes then got taken the place and we put the tent up only to be told 20 minutes later they had told us the wrong place ao had to take it down then suprise suprise they took us back to the 1st site we were moved from about 2 hours previously. I would not book that camping ever again it was not good and very frustrating that it was not signed. they did put a sign up about mid day on the Thursday. We were not the only people this happened too.

All in all once the camping fiasco was all over we had a fantastic time and can't wait to do it again.

It was an amazing weekend and the seats we had gave us an amazing view into the mcclaren and red bull garages, however, consideration was not made to parking. We were forced to park in muddy swamps which in the car we drove in was not adequate as it was unable to drive through this mud. Consideration and priority of parking should be made to people who buy Gold tickets, rather than being a first come first serve basis for everyone, parking should be based on ticket type.

The three day experience was amazing. Didn't realise how much information book f1 gave u's to maximise are weekend! Speaking to other race enthusiast they didn't have a clue what was going on who had booked through other agents! We fully recommend book f1 and will be getting more tickets for next years grand prix! 5 star weekend thanks book f1

Everything was great! They only problem was the weather and the mud.

We stayed in Liege and drove from England. We decided on Friday to take the train and bus but this was a big mistake. On Friday it took us 4 hours to get home after a delayed bus and a divergence to another station at Spa to get back to Liege, and this was on a Friday! So in the end we drove for the rest of the days. No problem, parking was close to the track, about 500 meter walk or less.

Great weekend, atmosphere was electric and the circuit lived up to the legend. Will be back.

Great services from Book F1, great communication.

Went last year and the site seemed alot more secure this year, police patrols through campsite, and security making rounds every two hours or so... They are severely lacking shower facilities and toilets at the course campsite but the easy, 5 minute access to track makes this insignificant if you don't mind being stinky for a few days.

Bronze General admission is the perfect choice if your camping as access to all the track and many good viewing spots.

Great day, be sure to eat before you go into the track though, €5 for a cone of frittes!
