The Silver 2 stand is at the end of the first short straight, before the S-bend up the hill, the opposite side to the start grid and finish line. The view is excellent and you can see the cars exit the first corner, accelerate down the straight in front of you, change down and blast up the hill before disappearing over the brow to drive the long straight. Plenty of time to track the cars and take photos and the noise is great too as you can hear the cars heading towards the pits on the opposite side of the track. Silver 2 is also right next to the F1 village where most of the food and merchandise stands are located. The large TV screen is a big help in following the race when the cars go out of view. Silver 2 is an open stand and I would recommend waterproofs, warm clothing and an umbrella as the weather at Spa is extremely changeable and lived up to its reputation with a full mix of hot sun and pouring rain. One last comment about the food; although the burgers, sausages, chips are very nice, it is the only option and all of the food stands seem to sell exactly the same food. Being at Spa for a full 3 days it would have been nice to have some choices and a variety of food. There are however plenty of drink options with good coffee, tea, beers and soft drinks all readily available. Overall a fantastic experience.
