TICKETS and ADMISSION -
The Bronze is good for getting access to the circuit and there are some great places to get a view. Get there early on race day to get the best position. People tend to put chairs up and tarpaulin over them which can stop any others viewing behind. One good place is next to the Vodaphone bridge at Coombes.
FACILITIES -
For then men there are plenty of tree's in the woods and the rivers of urine can be seen for miles. You can even have a game of Poo sticks between races. DONT use the porta-cabins unless you are armed with a big stick to push down the last 50 users deposits. You can pay-to-poo at 0.60 Eur which is well worth the money. I would recommend trying to store up as much as you can to get your monies worth. However with the option of tepid Hotdog or burger for diner that may not be possible as you may become 'regular'. (A great cure for constipation). 6 Euro's will buy you one of these delicacies. They serve a small coffee but no tea.
CAMPSITE
We stayed at a campsite at Coombes. It was very close to the entrance which was Ideal. However, find a nice quiet area, but away from the edges.
It was extremely noisy from all angles so get earplugs and ear defenders and soundproof your tent. It did stop in the early hours but I was able to sleep though it, unlike my friends. There is nothing that the campers wont burn. A charred Sofa was found in the morning and you could see black smoke bellowing around. Fireworks, banger's and canon's (yes canon's) were set off throughout the evening and it was extremely dangerous. I wouldn't want to take youngsters here, it really isn't appropriate. There were 4 full porta loos for a full campsite. So the edges were used mostly.
NO organisation for parking in the campsite so you could take up as much room as you liked, which some took full advantage of. No organisation for getting out. We left at 4pm and couldnt get out of the site. We got to Calais at 11pm!!!
Not much food or non alcoholic drink facilities at the campsite. Here is a list of items to consider.
1. Earplugs for race and campsite
2. Toilet roll
3. Rain mac, waterproof bottoms and umbrella
4. Coffee/tea - Water
5. Gas heater
6. Airbed - Warm sleeping bag
7. Extra clothing in case of wetting
8. Food - Disposable BBQ
9. Undercover seating area (gazebo) or tent with area for seating when at the campsite.
10. Torch
11. binoculars to watch cars or to see TV screen.
12. Radio or some commentary device as you cannot hear PA systems and it is not English. After the day you will hear 'Safety Carrrrr' several times and this is the only thing you will understand.
13. Kangaroo TV is available but 50 Euros per day.
14. There are several slopes so take chairs to sit down either with adjustable legs or take a small shovel to level out an area(or make bore holes for the back legs). It worked a treat to level out the chair on a steep slope.
If you can afford it, get a hotel and get a helicopter in and out of the circuit.
Otherwise be prepared that it is not a proper campsite with the usual facilities.
The circuit organisers have spared no expense with the facilities at the track. SO MAKE SURE YOU ARE PREPARED!!!!!!!
I lost my tickets prior to travelling and although I contacted you with plenty of time, unfortunately the circuit refused to reprint/reissue tickets. So it wasn't a great experience - I have to purchase new tickets at twice the price

The view was excellent, the race fantastic, but finding the track was really bad, found one entrance pretty easy but is was on the other side of the curcuit, there was no sign posting for the track or the event what so ever until about a mile form the parking area, the sat nav does not know the curcuit exists, nor do the Belgain highways people/council etc, for a world class event and world class curcuit sign posting needs to be around for miles (ie:Silverstone which is sign posted for some 30 miles or so away) all this is down to the Belgain organisation which was rubbish to say the least, 60 euro cent to go to toilet is bad enough and then they couldnt be bothered to sell programs in the Steel zone, I did see some program sellers very briefly but then they disappeared!! never to be seen again!
The only compaint I have with bookF1.com is that I was not told that parking was a couple of miles away from the curcuit and then a shuttle bus was taken in for the final part, and the traffic was so bad coming out everybody was ordered of the bus and I had to walk the final mile in the rain!! but overall a good race but hard to get to and from, its about 15-20 years behind Silverstone in that respect.
Overall a great weekend racing. I didn't use the free bus as the times were too early but got the train instead which was a great alternative. That said, which BookF1 gave me details of the busses should be, when I went there nobody could tell me which is thebos that I should taking. I asked various stewards at different entraces and nobody could tell me. Luckily a friend of mine was at the race and I got a lift back. However, that didn't detract from the enjoyment of the weekend which I will go to again.

This is the first time i had booked with BookF1 and the service was excellent the tickets arrived well in advance of the GP, which was a great relief. The event itself, well the journey to Spa was long but well worth the effort. What a fantastic setting, not the best sign posted event by far but so long as you head for Liege, and then down towards Luxemberg eventually you see the signs for Stavolot. The weather was a bit of mix but that justs adds to the excitement of the race. We first started up at Coombes and then made our waty round to Blanchemont, where we got a great view of the cars going up the straight, although not that visible, we then picked them up coming down into Stavolot befor coming past us. The only down side was there was no big TV screen where we were but if you go up towards the Bus Stop there is a screen there but exceptionally busy there, 5 or 6 deep, not that good for photographs. Overall an excellent day, will definitely do it again. Many thanks to Book F1 who made the experience special by the ease of their service. The only downside was the Car Parking, i felt that was a bit bad for cost as you dont park in the circuit rather on the road leading into the circuit, maybe that should be stressed when people book for parking to. Be aware it takes a good 2 hours or more to get away from the circuit, but it is all part of the day, enjoy it. Highly recommended.
