Bahrain was hot and the Gulf air tickets were a must

My only complaint about the weekend was the security at the circuit removed any water you carried in (I believe so you buy it inside). Unfortunately the water inside the circuit was expensive and warm which did not help in 39 degree heat.
However they only removed it from tourists....not locals!

we stayed in Manama and got a cab straight to the track in 20 mins . The cuircuit is also very clean . There is only 1 bar at the track so if you want a beer get ther early and get your wrist band as they only give out 800 wrist bands. Will definatley book with these guys again, fantastic service

The only thing i would say that info on transport to the stadium was not apparent and actually there were free transfers for everyone holding a ticket from about six different hotels in manama information was available at hotels to enable you to use this. The buses were frequent both backwards and forwards.
Our seats were excellent about 6 rows up from the grid infront of lewis.
Got some excellent pictures of the race and lewis himself.

Pitty about the heavily inflated prices by hotels and transport. Real rip off. The same hotel for which I normally pay 40 BD was 175 BD per night.
